Stephen spent 20 years as a museum curator and academic, specialising in modern history.   His talk is the second part of the history of The Queen Mary from war to retirement. By the end of the war, she had transported over half a million troops and still holds the record for the greatest number of people transported aboard a single vessel at one time.
