The strength of Fareham society is it’s membership and the more members we have the greater our influence and the more we can achieve. We keep the cost of membership intentionally low at £10 per person per annum so that it is accessible to all.

What are the benefits of membership of Fareham Society?
- The ability, via The Society, to influence and actively participate in the future thinking, plans and policies for the whole Borough.
- The opportunity to participate in the many Society Projects and Events.
- Attendance at monthly open meetings with a programme of illustrated lectures/talks covering a wide variety of subjects of general and local interest. Topics include historical, environmental, health, and essential local services subjects. These are held on the third Thursday of the month at the United Reformed Church in Fareham from September to May. They are free to member, but we also welcome non-members who pay a small fee.
- Three substantial newsletters a year with Borough -wide contributions.
- A programme of summer walks and visits.
